Description

Right now, imports are not checked whether they conform to correct ordering by pylint.
I suggest we use automatic import sorter, like isort, to make this easier.

We should also add isort as pre-commit hook or at least check it in the CI/CD pipeline. Commit 2cdea87246de9e1b733eddde305977788eed44c1 introduced a file which causes make isort-check to fail (extra newline after imports).
